Lakeside Christian teachers are the key to learning. All instructors are selected based on both academic and spiritual qualifications. The dedicated staff is well educated and trained in their fields, as well as having the compassion, care, and love for children that are needed to create a positive and warm environment.

Within the classrooms the basic elementary education courses of phonics, reading, language, writing, spelling, mathematics, social studies, science, and physical education are taught. In addition, Bible, music, band and computer classes are provided. Limited class sizes allow for greater individual attention. Achievement tests are administered each spring, and are compared to state and national averages. United Christian Schools consistently score above grade level in all subjects. Experiences for students extend beyond the classroom with involvement in musical programs, special assemblies, field trips, science fair exhibits, and weekly chapels. Fourth through sixth grade students are encouraged to participate in an intramural sports program.

An extended day care program is available for students needing before and after school care. Many activities are planned including arts and crafts, field trips, games, films, and much more.
