Little Learners Preschool and Wee Care Preschool are privately owned interdenominational preschools serving children ages two through five years old. Through their parent corporation, United Christian Schools, Inc., Little Learners Preschool and Wee Care Preschool are affiliated with Lakeside Christian School K-8 and Brookside Christian High School. Family discounts are extended to all families enrolled from preschool through high school.

The goal of Little Learners Preschool and Wee Care Prescool are to provide your child with a safe, creative and intellectually stimulating environment through Christian care. For those who wish to know more about our program, this website briefly describes the unique qualities of our center and you are encouraged to call for a personal tour of our school.

The programs at Little Learners and Wee Care consist of a variety of activities ranging from arts and crafts, food projects, dramatic role play, manipulatives, motor coordination and local field trips. We provide an excellent pre-reading program. A daily schedule, weekly lesson plan and “What we did today” sheets are posted in each classroom for parents to view. Yearly calendars and theme/activity pamphlets are also available for each age group.

Each preschool teacher at Little Learners and Wee Care is highly qualified and trained through an accredited Early Childhood Education program. Additional workshops and training sessions such as discipline, child abuse prevention, CPR and first aid are a continuing part of our training. Our staff maintains an uplifting, positive attitude with the children as well as with parents and fellow co-workers.

Children may attend preschool anytime between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Full- or half-days and full-time or part-time schedules are available. Our yearly calendar listing all school holidays can be obtained from the school office.

Morning and afternoon snack is served with milk or juice each day. A hot, well-balanced meal is served daily at lunch. Your child will receive at least one third of the daily food requirements. The menu rotates every five weeks. During all meals, good table manners are encouraged and prayer is given before each meal.

Every family is encouraged to submit an application for enrollment at your earliest opportunity. Forms are available in each preschool office or by calling the preschool to have one mailed to you.

A tour of the preschool and an appointment with the director will be required before final acceptance. Due to the high popularity of Little Learners Preschool and Wee Care Preschool, you are encouraged to submit your application for enrollment as soon as possible.
